GLORIOUS EXPERT

Two weeks ago, this horse ran a respectable race over the Sha Tin 1200m, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear. It showed good acceleration in the middle stages and maintained a steady gallop. In its subsequent trial at Happy Valley over a shorter distance, it will carry two pounds less weight this time but lacked a finishing kick and faced unfavorable conditions. Despite running comparable times to others in the group and managing to settle in a good position tracking the leaders, the barrier draw is not particularly advantageous and there doesn't seem to be a clear plan for the race.
