On March 7th (Conghua dirt trial 1200m: 4-3-3), the horse settled mid-pack with a reasonable effort. On June 9th (Conghua turf trial 1000m: 4-5-4), a slow start hindered its progress, but it made up ground steadily afterwards. Seven weeks ago, in a Happy Valley 1200m race, the horse ran well despite a moderate jump, settling towards the rear and finishing with a strong late run. Two barrier trials haven't shown exceptional form. Dropping back to Class for its Hong Kong debut, it will be attempting a short Happy Valley sprint this time carrying an extra fifteen pounds. The distance is unfavorable, resulting in a challenging situation despite securing a good barrier. Trainer and jockey appear to have a solid understanding; observing its first run is recommended.
