Six weeks ago, this horse performed poorly over Sha Tin’s 1200m turf, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear with a steady pace but lacking a finishing burst. A recent barrier trial showed slight improvement. Switching to 1400m on the Sha Tin turf for its first attempt at this distance, it will carry 13 pounds less this time and is expected to settle back in the field. However, its finishing kick may not be strong enough against rivals, making its current position unfavorable. A win at this distance remains a possibility; drawing an inside barrier enhances its chances as a longshot contender.
