On June 10th (dirt trial 1200m: 6-5-4), it was ridden early and made a slight advance on the straight. On March 18th (dirt trial 1200m: 8-7-7), it settled along the rail and lacked appeal. In May, this horse ran a respectable race over a Happy Valley staying distance, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear but finishing with a strong run, beaten three lengths for sixth place. After a long break, it has had three trials showing some improvement. Switching to Sha Tin over 1400m for its debut at this distance, the horse benefits from a three-pound weight reduction and is expected to track or lead. It shows good finishing kick, has a favorable draw, and Zac Purton takes the ride—the jockey understands how to control the horse’s pace. The trainer and jockey seem aligned in their approach, and despite potential concerns about the distance, a clean break should allow it to contend for a forward position.
