Another trial over Sha Tin 1400m revealed he carries a two-pound weight reduction for this race, yet remains winless in five attempts at this distance; his group times have been unconvincing, displaying a weak finishing kick and facing unfavorable conditions. Despite being able to secure a good position tracking the leaders and drawing an inside barrier, prospects appear limited.
