On June 27th, a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse pushed hard by the rider to close in on the finish. Five weeks ago, in the same distance race, performance was poor with a slow jump and settling towards the rear. A steady pace was maintained but lacked any notable acceleration, resulting in a significant defeat. One barrier trial has been completed, without showing sufficient progress. This time around, the horse benefits from a three-pound weight reduction, however, it remains winless in three attempts over this distance. The overall section times of competing horses are not encouraging and the situation looks unfavorable; unlikely to feature in this race.
