On August 30th (turf trial 1000m: 3-3-7), the early pace was moderate, maintaining a consistent speed in the final section. This is the horse’s debut run this season and followed one barrier trial where it failed to keep up with the leading pace. Now stepping into Happy Valley over a short distance, it benefits from a four-pound weight reduction but faces an unfavorable distance condition. While capable of tracking the front runners, its barrier draw is reasonable, and this race should be considered a trial run only.
