On August 30th, a turf trial over 1000m saw this horse finish in sections of 2-3-5. The pace was moderate early on but lacked enthusiasm towards the end. This is his seasonal debut following one barrier trial where he wasn't fully extended. He has a two-pound weight reduction for this race, but the sectionals recorded by horses in the same group are not impressive. The plan is to settle back in running, however, his finishing kick is unlikely to be as strong as rivals and the overall situation appears unfavorable, even with an advantageous barrier draw.
