On August 21st, during trials in Conghua over 1200m on the dirt, he led comfortably when ridden alone before being restrained. Returning from a long break, this will be his seasonal debut. He's had two barrier trials demonstrating some improvement. This time carrying a three-pound deduction, he has previously won three races at this distance and the sectionals of his rivals aren’t significantly faster. An advantageous barrier draw allows for a potential frontrunning tactic. Based on the horse’s ability, he is considered the strongest contender in this race. Jockey Jerry Chau replaces the previous rider; the new jockey is known for controlling a horse's pace effectively. He is showing good pre-race condition. Even if his finishing kick isn’t strong or there are issues with trainer compatibility, a clean jump and a forward position should see him finish among the leading group.
