WISEMAN

On August 27th, the horse completed a dirt trial over 1200m in 1-1-7, showing early speed while tiring slightly on the straight. This is his debut run this season; a previous barrier trial didn't reveal much potential. He’s now entered for a Happy Valley mile, tackling this distance for the first time. He carries a four-pound weight reduction this race but the step up in distance may not suit him and he lacked a finishing kick last start. His current form is questionable despite drawing a favorable barrier; observing one more run is recommended before assessing his chances.
