On August 29th, during a dirt trial over 1200m (sections: 6-7-8), the horse showed restraint, settling in mid-division. This is his seasonal debut following one trial which didn’t reveal significant improvement. He benefits from a two-pound weight reduction this time, has prior form over this distance, recorded good times with its group and draws a favorable barrier. The tactics suggest a hold-up position relying on a finishing kick; the trainer and jockey have a reasonable rapport, giving it chances to perform well immediately.
