On September 4th (from Conghua dirt trial 1200m: 2-3-1), the horse settled in a forward position and won after a battle. On August 21st (from Conghua dirt trial 1200m: 4-4-3) it was given a push towards the end to test its stamina, gradually closing the gap. This is the horse’s seasonal debut, having undergone two barrier trials showing slight improvement. Returning to Happy Valley over a mile this time with a five-pound weight reduction but drawing a poor barrier, and displaying a weak finishing kick, the prospects are unfavorable despite previous records over this distance. Although its section times are not significantly slower than others in the group, maintaining a good position tracking the leaders will be challenging.
