On August 29th, during a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua, the horse showed a slow start but made steady progress with urging. This is his seasonal debut and his first barrier trial performance was satisfactory. Last run was in a Happy Valley mile, and for this race he has a five-pound weight reduction. He lacked a strong finishing kick and doesn’t have an advantageous draw; despite having some form over the distance, the time recorded wasn't impressive. Although drawing well, he is unlikely to be competitive in this event.
