On August 29th, a turf trial over 1600m at Conghua saw the horse perform moderately well (2-2-2-3). A week prior, on August 21st, during a dirt trial over 1200m at Conghua (6-6-5), the horse was deliberately held back and not pushed. This will be its seasonal debut. Two barrier trials have been completed, but the horse hasn’t shown expected progress. Another Happy Valley mile trial was undertaken recently; this time it carries a five-pound weight reduction. It has failed to win any of its three previous attempts over this distance, with unfavorable comparative times against other horses in the same group and a challenging overall situation despite drawing a reasonable barrier, suggesting limited chances for success.
