He made progress in the middle stages but lacked stamina to finish strongly. In a subsequent dirt mile trial, he benefits from a one-pound weight reduction for this race. Recording the fastest time among its group, drawing an inside barrier, with instructions to settle back, demonstrating strong finishing speed within the field. Trainer and jockey maintain a good rapport and are preparing diligently, however, the current conditions may present challenges as it is expected to break slowly.
