Two weeks ago, in a race over the same distance, the performance was very poor; a slow start saw it settle at the back of the field with an even pace but no noticeable acceleration. This time, there is no weight reduction, and the group timing looks good. It will need to be held up for a strong finishing kick – possessing the strongest in the group – and finish powerfully. Despite drawing an outside barrier, its chances are not entirely compromised and it could still significantly impact the outcome.
