BILLION TWO

On September 23rd (dirt trial 1200m: 3-3-7), the horse showed limited improvement during a straight sprint. Three weeks ago, over Sha Tin’s 1400m turf, the performance was poor; a slow jump led to settling towards the rear with a steady pace and no finishing kick resulting in a significant defeat. A subsequent barrier trial also failed to demonstrate any progress. Switching to a Happy Valley mile for its debut at this distance, the horse is set to carry one pound more this time. The distance is not considered ideal, and it’s recommended to observe another race before making a judgement.
