On September 12th, in a turf trial at Conghua over 1600m, the horse settled second on the rail, showing both early speed and finishing kick (2-2-2-5). On August 29th, during another turf trial at Conghua over 1200m, it traveled wide throughout, held back and not fully tested (5-5-9). Returning after a long break, this will be the horse’s first run of the season. Two trials have been completed without significant showing. A dirt mile trial was undertaken previously, and now faces a 1lb weight increase for this race. The horse has recorded two wins at this distance before with respectable times in its group, and Keith Yeung takes the ride. The jockey is familiar with the horse’s temperament; despite an unfavorable draw and a trainer-jockey pairing that isn't considered ideal, the connections believe there's potential for a strong performance.
