On September 27th, this horse completed a turf trial over 1700m at Happy Valley, finishing sections in 4-3-3-5 with a slight urging on the straight and showing decent momentum. Returning from a long break, this is his seasonal debut. A previous barrier trial didn’t reveal much. In a recent dirt mile trial, he will carry eight pounds more this time; the section times within his group were reasonable, and his current form appears stable with good trainer-jockey rapport. Although drawing an outside barrier suggests a need to settle towards the rear, his finishing kick is unlikely to match rivals, making further improvement challenging.
