On September 8th, a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse jump slowly but make steady progress with urging. This is its seasonal debut following one satisfactory trial. Moving up in class to race on dirt over a mile for the first time, it will benefit from a 15-pound weight reduction and has drawn an inside barrier. The strategy is expected to be to settle back in the field and rely on a finishing kick; the horse appears to have a higher level of ability compared to other contenders. Keith Yeung takes the ride, having some familiarity with the horse, and trainer-jockey relationship remains positive. Late work suggests it’s being prepared for a strong performance.
