NOISY BOY

On September 12th, a turf trial over 1200m in Conghua saw the horse settling mid-pack before finishing with a strong late surge. This is his debut run for the season. He underwent one barrier trial previously and didn’t keep pace well. Another dirt mile trial showed he carries 13 pounds less this time, but the overall sectionals were slow within his group, requiring him to be held back. However, his finishing kick wasn't as strong as other horses and the horse-jockey combination wasn't ideal. Fortunately, a jockey change to Jerry Chau is expected to improve synergy, with hopes for a better performance.
