Six days ago, this horse ran poorly over a Sha Tin 1200m turf race, with a slow jump and settling towards the rear. He made a move in the middle sections but faded towards the finish, resulting in a significant defeat. Racing again within two weeks, stepping back to a dirt mile this time with a two-pound weight reduction, he recorded good section times and is expected to settle towards the rear. Finishing kick was reasonable during trackwork; appears capable of causing an upset.
