On September 23rd (dirt trial 1200m: 2-2-4), settled near the front with a responsive ride from Lassock. On September 11th (dirt trial 1200m: 8-6-5), jumped moderately and took a wider path around the turn, but showed willingness to accelerate in the final section. On August 29th (dirt trial 1200m: 8-5-5) raced on the outside throughout and responded well late. Returning after a long break, this is his seasonal debut. Completed three barrier trials, but hasn't fully conditioned yet. Needs to carry two pounds more weight this time, with a slower sectional time compared to rivals. Likely to be held up in this race, however, lacks the finishing kick of opponents and faces an unfavorable situation despite drawing an inside barrier; even with sufficient preparation, he’s unlikely to feature."
