TALENTS AMBITION

On September 19th (dirt trial 1200m: 6-5-2), the horse showed a clear finishing kick when running freely on the straight. On September 3rd (dirt trial 1200m: 9-9-2), he shifted outwards from mid-division and made good progress. On June 26th (dirt trial 1200m: 8-8-4) he ran steadily on the straight. After a long break, this is his seasonal debut. He’s had three trials showing slight improvement. This time he will carry an additional eight pounds, having previously won three races over this distance. The overall timing of the group is good and with an advantageous inside barrier draw, a hold-up tactic is expected given his finishing kick. Considering the horse's ability, he is definitely a strong contender in this race. Trainer and jockey appear to have a good understanding, and the horse has been showing improvement in trackwork, suggesting he can win again.
