Switching to dirt over a mile this time, it's his first attempt at this distance. He will carry four pounds more weight this race, managed to secure a good position tracking the leaders, and drew an advantageous inside barrier. Based on relative ability, he is considered strong. Matthew Poon takes the ride, having some familiarity with the horse’s capabilities. Despite the unfavourable distance and a weak finishing kick, and trainer-jockey mismatch, it warrants attention.
