Three weeks ago (14/10), this horse recorded a turf trial over 1000m in sections of 2-3-6, running at a moderate pace early and maintaining it towards the finish. On September 11th (11/9) during a dirt trial over 1200m, he was urged forward but showed no improvement. Earlier on August 27th (27/8), in a dirt trial over 1200m, he raced keenly and pushed for the lead, showing aggressive acceleration in the straight. Returning after a long break, this will be his seasonal debut. He has completed three barrier trials with slight progress shown. This race marks his first attempt on a straight course; he benefits from a ten-pound weight reduction but the shorter distance is unfavorable. An unfavourable draw complicates matters and the horse is considered to be running as a trial."
