On 10/9, recorded a fast-paced dirt trial over 1200m finishing third with a strong final section. Four weeks ago, this horse performed poorly in a Sha Tin mile race, taking the lead and maintaining a steady pace but lacking a finishing burst. A subsequent barrier trial showed slight improvement. In its latest straight course run, it will carry five pounds less weight this time, however drew a poor barrier within the same timing group necessitating a hold-up strategy; the horse’s finishing kick was insufficient against rivals making for an unfavorable prospect in this race.
