STRAIGHT TO GLORY

On March 10th, the horse recorded (dirt trial 1200m: 1-2-7), leading from the rail and showing a soft finish on the straight. On September 19th (dirt trial 1050m: 1-1-1) he led all the way comfortably. This is his seasonal debut, having undergone two barrier trials demonstrating improvement. He’s switching stables for this outing and will be tested over a straight course again; benefitting from a seven-pound weight reduction with competitive section times within its group, it has potential to lead early. Drawing a good barrier enhances its chances. It appears a strong contender in the race, showcasing solid form. Derek Leung takes the ride, known for his ability to control pace and build confidence with horses; trainer and jockey have a good rapport, with pre-race work indicating readiness. A clean break should see it aim for an early lead.
