THE PROMISE

On 9/10, a dirt trial over 1050m saw the horse respond moderately with urging in the final section (running positions 5-7-7). On 12/9, during a turf trial at Conghua over 1000m, he showed an average response upon jumping and under pressure (positions 5-5-8). A further turf trial at Conghua on 25/8 over 800m revealed good early speed with a consistent pace maintained under urging (positions 1-1-3). This is the horse’s debut after arriving in Hong Kong in early November of last year. Three trials this season haven't demonstrated sufficient progress; further evaluation after one race is recommended.
