PERFECT PAIRING

Three weeks ago, over the same distance, this horse performed respectably despite a slow jump and settling at the rear. He made a strong effort in the middle stages, accelerating well through the last two sections, chasing Lasquen. He finished sixth, beaten by one and a half lengths. This time he needs to carry an additional two pounds, with comparable times in the group. Drawing an inside barrier and with good trainer-jockey synergy, despite three previous losses over this distance, the horse still shows determination.
