Four weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over a Sha Tin 1600m distance, with a slow start and settling towards the rear. He maintained a steady pace but lacked any noticeable acceleration and finished well-beaten. In a subsequent trial over a Sha Tin 1800m distance, he benefits from a three-pound weight reduction but drew an unfavourable outside barrier. Despite recording similar sectionals to his rivals, he was forced to settle at the back of the field; however, he displayed the strongest finishing kick amongst the group and didn't have opportunity to show it.
