AWESOME FLUKE

On September 27th, this horse trialled well over 1700m at Happy Valley (sections: 2-1-1-1), showing good speed to the finish line. Further trials included a dirt trial on September 19th over 1200m (sections: 1-1-4) where he broke quickly and settled nicely, followed by a turf trial on April 8th over 1600m (sections: 1-1-1-2), taking the initiative and appearing comfortable. Returning from a spell, this is his first run of the season. Three trials have demonstrated improvement. After racing in Class 4 last start, he will carry an additional 20 pounds in this race. The opposition appears strong, and even with potential early speed, his chances are questionable.
