On 6/10, the horse recorded a dirt trial over 1200m finishing sections of 7-7-4, losing ground throughout but attempting to move forward. On 12/9, during a turf trial at Conghua over 1200m, he shifted out for clear running and was urged on by the jockey. Returning after a long break, this is his seasonal debut. Two barrier trials have shown limited improvement. He will carry an additional five pounds in this race. Despite having some track form over this distance and respectable times with its group, it's expected to be held back for a finishing run, displaying decent finishing kick. The horse appears relatively stronger compared to other contenders. Hugh Bowman takes the ride, possessing some familiarity with the horse’s capabilities but the trainer-jockey relationship isn't ideal; hoping to finish close.
