MASTER TRILLION

Three weeks ago, over the same distance, this horse performed well despite a slow start, settling towards the rear before finishing with a strong two-section pace to secure second place, beaten by only half a length. He's now carrying just a one-pound increase in weight for this race and has proven form over this course and distance; his section times are competitive within the group. The plan is again to settle back in the field, utilizing a strong finishing kick. Derek Leung takes the ride, demonstrating some familiarity with the horse’s capabilities, and the trainer and jockey maintain mutual trust. Workouts have been positive despite drawing an unfavorable outside barrier.
