THE ALL ROUNDER

Four weeks ago, this horse ran well over a Happy Valley 1200m, jumping slowly but finishing strongly after settling towards the rear. In a recent Sha Tin turf trial over 1400m, he benefits from a three-pound weight reduction and recorded a good sectional time, though drawing an outside barrier is not ideal. Even if forced to settle back in the field, his finishing kick appears strong, with late work showing no obvious tactical plans are being employed.
