He jumped slowly and settled towards the rear before making a strong late run in fast sections to finish second, beaten by half a length. Now moving up in class, he will again tackle Sha Tin’s 1400m turf track this time with a 20-pound weight reduction. The sectionals of his group are comparable, and he should be able to secure a good position tracking the leaders. Drawing an inside barrier is advantageous, possessing a strong finishing kick. A jockey change sees Harry Bentley take the reins; horse, rider and trainer appear well-suited, suggesting a strong chance."
