On February 2nd, the horse completed an 800m turf trial at Conghua in sections of 5-4-3, showing eagerness from a forward position. On January 16th, he also trialed over 1000m at Conghua, running relaxed and without being pushed, finishing in sections of 2-1-4. This is a New Zealand import with a predicted rating of 61 by MA288. He had seven starts in Australia, achieving two wins and four second placings in lower grade races, demonstrating good racing spirit while tracking the pace. Two trials this season have shown reasonable form; although not fully extended, he remains a contender.
