March 19th, a dirt trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse running moderately while staying close to the rail. Five weeks ago, in a Happy Valley 1200m race, performance was very disappointing; the horse settled towards the rear and weakened in the final stages. A subsequent barrier trial showed acceptable form. Returning to dirt over 1200m, the horse has yet to win in three attempts at this distance. The current situation is not favorable, with a lack of demonstrated finishing kick and no notable trainer-jockey synergy.
