March 20th (dirt trial 1200m: 1-1-5), showed early pace over the first two sections but lacked finish. Four weeks ago, in a Happy Valley 1200m race, the performance was disappointing; led but maintained an even pace throughout with a flat profile. A recent barrier trial didn’t show significant improvement. Returning to the dirt track over 1200m, the barrier position is slightly unfavorable and the final section pace was weak. However, an advantageous draw and decent time suggest a performance is possible.
