On March 20th, recorded slow finishing speed in a dirt trial over 1200m (sections: 6-7-9), trailing at the rear. Four weeks ago, a poor performance over Happy Valley's 1200m; slow jump from the gate, settled towards the back and weakened in the final stages, finishing well-defeated. One barrier trial showed insufficient preparation. Returning to dirt over 1200m, this horse will carry one pound more in this race, with a less favorable setup. Finishing kick is moderate and jockey-trainer synergy isn’t optimal; however, past records over this distance and an advantageous barrier position suggest caution is warranted.
