Last ran winner, excelled in a Sha Tin 1800m race fourteen days ago with an impressive gallop, maintaining a steady pace throughout and regaining some ground in the finish to win. After running over 2000m on Sha Tin turf again, it is noted that he carries an extra seven pounds this time. Having lost all five previous starts, his timing hasn't been outstanding, and the draw was unfavorable; his late acceleration was slightly lacking. The partnership between jockey and trainer hasn't been particularly harmonious, but his ability to aggressively take the lead and favorable race conditions explain his performance; it is not surprising that he showed some deficiencies.
