In his subsequent trial over 2000m on Sha Tin turf, this was his first attempt at the distance, which should suit him. His time recorded was acceptable, and he drew a favorable draw. Running towards the rear in this competitive field, his finishing kick was the most powerful in the group. The jockey is familiar with this horse, but he will carry an extra pound in this race, and the overall prospects are not overly favorable; worth a slight punt.
