Trial on 19/5 (Dirt trial 1200m: advancing gradually, showing improvement). Five weeks ago, he performed poorly over a Sha Tin 1600m on turf, trailing throughout with an even pace and lackluster form. A subsequent trial showed a satisfactory performance in the barrier trial. He is running over 2000m again; this time he carries an extra pound, which slightly disadvantages his position. His finishing kick is somewhat less potent, and the jockey/trainer combination isn't ideal. However, given the track suitability and decent draw, he could be a candidate for an upset.
