DOUBLE WIN

Dirt trial 1200m on 19/5 (running position: 2-4-3). Moved wide in the bend to finish third from behind. Five weeks ago, this horse performed outstandingly over a Happy Valley long distance race. He was slow to get going at the start, tracked in the rear, maintained a steady pace throughout, and managed to gain some ground at the finish, finishing second. Fortunately, he was not far behind, losing only a length. Having run another trial, there has been slight improvement. Previously ran over 2000m on Sha Tin turf with a good performance, acceptable pace in the field, and an okay draw. Overall rating places him near the top of his group; the jockey and trainer have a good rapport, and his recent condition is satisfactory. However, for this race, he must carry an extra pound, the circumstances are slightly unfavorable, and his finishing kick is not outstanding; he remains a horse to watch.
