Fourteen days ago, this horse performed reasonably well in a 1200m dirt trial. He was slow breaking, settled back to run, progressing steadily along the way and slowly closing in towards the end. He then tried a mile on dirt, showing slightly weaker time figures and less finishing kick. The partnership between jockey and trainer has not been outstanding, but he managed to hold a good position tracking the leaders; having won twice in this trip previously, he must be kept in mind.
