On 16/06, he ran a dirt trial over 1200m, finishing with a straight run from the lead to the finish. Four weeks ago, in his last race over 1400m on Sha Tin turf, he was very disappointing. He was slow to jump out and held up towards the rear, maintaining a steady pace throughout with an unremarkable run. He finished heavily defeated. The trial showed improvement. In the return trip over a mile on dirt, the conditions did not seem favorable, and the draw was unfavorable; his finishing kick was not pronounced. The partnership between jockey and trainer did not stand out either. Having won four of his eighteen starts, his time performance is acceptable, but high expectations should not be placed upon him.
