On 16/6, the horse ran a dirt trial over 1200m (4-4-4), where the straight run was powerful but posed no threat. In a dirt trial over 1200m (9-9-10), it also showed no threat lacking in quality. Eight weeks ago, the horse performed very poorly in a long-distance race on Happy Valley turf, trailing at the back with a weakening finish and suffering a heavy defeat. Having completed two barrier trials, it has not shown significant improvement in fitness. Shifting to a mile on dirt for the first time, the trip is not suited, and its sectional times are weak, putting it at a tactical disadvantage. The jockey and trainer do not appear to be in strong harmony. However, if it adopts a stalking style, its final surge is among the strongest in the field, and it has an acceptable draw, which does not seem to be a major drawback.
