RYUI KOKOROE
Horse analysis
On August 26th, the horse performed well in a dirt trial at 1200m (running positions: 3-4-3), showing good acceleration in the straight to regain a place. This is its first start this season; eight weeks ago, it ran over 1200m on Sha Tin turf and performed reasonably well. It was slow coming out of the gate, settling back, maintaining a steady pace along the way, and gradually closing in at the finish. Fortunately, it was not far behind, finishing only three lengths back, indicating a high level of ability. After trying a trial barrier, there was slight improvement. In its return run on Happy Valley turf over 1200m, it lost all four races. Due to time differences in the field and disadvantageous circumstances, there hasn't been a particularly harmonious partnership between the jockey and trainer. However, when finishing strongly in a competitive race, its closing kick was the most potent in the group, and with diligent training, it is worth watching.
