August 24th (Conghua turf trial over 800m: 4-7-3) started off dropping back, but regained momentum before the finish line. This is his first start this season; three months ago he ran in a similar race and performed well, settling towards the rear. A recent trial showed slight improvement. In this race, he carries four pounds less, and the trip is within his proven scope; his time indicators are still acceptable. The draw is ideal, allowing him to settle near the front. His recent form has been good; even if his final kick is slightly lacking or the jockey/trainer coordination isn't perfect, he should be in contention for a placing.
