DEVAS TWELVE

Ran a relaxed workout on Sha Tin turf in a 1000m barrier trial on August 31st (8-7-7), lacking a real test. Returning after a long layoff, this is the horse's first start of the season. In June, he performed excellently over 1400m on Sha Tin turf, holding a good position near the front and maintaining momentum in the final stages to win. A recent trial showed no improvement. Making a class jump, his run over 1200m on Happy Valley turf did not show outstanding time or ideal positioning, and his finishing kick was not prominent. Fortunately, he could track the leaders, and there is good synergy between the jockey and trainer, suggesting nothing to worry about.
